Volkl goes all in on V-Cell technology with the new V-Cell 8 (315g). With this update, V-Cell material is embedded throughout the entire head and shaft, for improved feel and playability. V-Cell is a revolutionary, highly durable material, which is stronger and fatigues less than standard graphite. The technology works in tandem with VTex, a silicone polymer butt cap, to make the V-Cell 8 a more comfortable racquet than the previous version. Volkl's proprietary Super G grommet system enlarges the sweet spot on the 100 square inch head, and increases energy return for more power. The V-Cell 8 (315g) is the heaviest version of the V-Cell 8 family at 11.6 ounces strung. The frame's 22/24/22 cross section provides impressive stability and a solid feel at contact. With a 16x18 string pattern, the V-Cell 8 (315g) is one of the more spin-friendly control racquets on the market today.
